Made changes to: Holacracy Ecosystem

Accountability added:
  • Auditing trainings delivered by Coaches in licensee organizations, as a service, and assessing the trainer(s) for the Holacracy Trainer badge

Policy changed: Holacracy Trainer Badge

Text changed:
  • Any Licensee (Agent or Provider) with a Certified Holacracy Coach credential may co-deliver a private multi-day Holacracy-branded Practitioner Training as a "Licensed Event" (as defined in the licensing agreement) as part of an overall Holacracy implementation engagement for a client, as long as a HolacracyOne-authorized trainer is leading the training delivery. Once a Licensee co-delivers such a training and achieves a sufficient level of feedback from participants and coaches, the Licensee may then deliver future such trainings without a HolacracyOne trainer (and the Licensee is thus considered to have earned a "Holacracy Trainer" badge).Any Certified Holacracy Coach acting as an agent of a Licensed Holacracy Provider organization may deliver a private multi-day Holacracy-branded Practitioner Training for a client as a "Licensed Event" (as defined in the licensing agreement), but only as part of that Provider delivering a comprehensive Holacracy implementation engagement to that client, including meeting facilitation and coaching services, and only if the person leading the training delivery has earned the "Holacracy Trainer" badge.

The feedback level required to earn a Holacracy Trainer badge is based on the Net Promoter Score system, using both of the following questions:A Certified Holacracy Coach can earn a provisional "Holacracy Trainer" badge by co-delivering or coaching at a multi-day Holacracy Practitioner Training led by HolacracyOne and achieving an excellent feedback score. This provisional badge may only be used to conduct a training with a HolacracyOne-appointed auditor present (a separate audit fee may apply, in addition to the usual license fees). If the auditor determines the Coach has fully and consistently met HolacracyOne's training quality standards throughout the audit, the provisional badge then becomes a full and lasting Holacracy Trainer badge. The provisional badge grant expires if the Coach does not achieve this level, unless the auditor determines the Coach is near the target level and extends the provisional badge grant to allow for another training delivery audit, using whatever standards the auditor deems appropriate or may be further defined separately.

    1. "If a friend was adopting Holacracy and looking for meeting facilitation and coaching support, how likely would you be to recommend this person to your friend as a coach?"
    2. "If a friend was adopting Holacracy and looking for an internal training, how likely would you be to recommend this person to your friend as a trainer?"

To maintain the "Holacracy Trainer" badge, the trainer must maintain a Certified Holacracy Coach credential in good standing, and consistently show an excellent feedback score from every training delivery. Should the feedback score for a training fall below the required level, the badge shall immediately become a provisional badge grant again, subject to the rules above.

To earn the Holacracy Trainer badge, the above questions must be asked of all training participants and any other coach or trainer at the event, and the results must indicate the following (for each question):
    a) At least 50% of possible respondents gave scores.
    b) The NPS result was 0.5 or higher when factoring in scores across all respondents.
    c) The NPS result was 0.5 or higher when only factoring in scores from other coaches and trainers at the event.
For any feedback score to qualify as "excellent" under this policy, all of the following must be true:

    1. The score is based on the Net Promoter Score system, using one or both of the following questions (whichever is appropriate to the context):
      a) "If a friend was adopting Holacracy and looking for meeting facilitation and coaching support, how likely would you be to recommend this person to your friend as a coach?"
      b) "If a friend was adopting Holacracy and looking for an internal training, how likely would you be to recommend this person to your friend as a trainer?"
    2. All participants and other delivery staff were invited to submit feedback scores directly to HolacracyOne (not just through the Coach), and at least 50% of participants gave scores.
    3. The NPS result was 0.6 or higher when only factoring in scores from participants.
    4. The NPS result was 0.6 or higher when only factoring in scores from other coaches and trainers at the event.
