  • Any role may enact a financial relationship or transaction (when otherwise authorized), provided that all of the following are true:No role may direct an external party to send funds to the Organization unless there's they first or simultaneously notify @Bookkeeper to expect the funds (requesting an invoice counts as notification, as does entering an order into any order tracking system established by @Accounting).

    a) The relationship's transactions will use a currency that's approved by @Finance.

    b) The role notifies @Bookkeeper to expect a payment before directing the other party to send a payment to the company (requesting an invoice counts, as does entering an order in any @Finance-approved order tracking system).

    c) If the relationship involves a need to convert one currency to another (e.g. to apply a credit in one currency to an invoice in another), the conversion must be calculated using the Interbank rate + 3% as posted on http://oanda.com as of the date of the conversion.
