General Company Proposal

Any Certified Holacracy Coach acting as an agent of a Licensed Holacracy Provider organization may deliver a private multi-day Holacracy-branded Practitioner Training for a client as a "Licensed Event" (as defined in the licensing agreement), but

1. only as part of that Provider delivering a comprehensive Holacracy implementation engagement to that client, including meeting facilitation and coaching services, and
2. only if the person leading the training delivery has earned the "Holacracy Trainer" badge.

Earning the Trainer badge

• Via gaining a provisional badge + conducting a training with an auditor
A Certified Holacracy Coach who already has a Holacracy Trainer badge, or any Certified Holacracy Master Coach, can give a Certified Holacracy Coach a provisional "Holacracy Trainer" badge if the granter has good reason to believe the Coach has excellent training delivery skills and would be an excellent brand representative in a training context. This provisional badge may only be used to conduct a training with a HolacracyOne-appointed auditor present (a separate audit fee may apply, in addition to the usual license fees).

• Via co-delivering with an H1 trainer
Alternatively, a Coach may skip the provisional badge by co-delivering a training with a HolacracyOne-appointed lead trainer, in which case that trainer may also act as an auditor to assess the Coach for a full Holacracy Trainer badge.

In either case, if the auditor determines the Coach has fully and consistently met HolacracyOne's training quality standards throughout the audit, the Coach then gains a full and lasting Holacracy Trainer badge. If the Coach does not achieve this level any provisional badge grant automatically expires, unless the auditor determines the Coach is near the target level and extends the provisional badge grant to allow for another training delivery audit.

Maintaining the Trainer badge
To maintain the "Holacracy Trainer" badge, the trainer must maintain a Certified Holacracy Coach credential in good standing, and consistently show an excellent feedback score in each training the trainer leads as a primary trainer. Should the feedback score for a training fall below the required level, the badge shall immediately become a provisional badge grant again, subject to the rules above.

Definition of "excellent feedback score"
For any feedback score to qualify as "excellent" under this policy, all of the following must be true:

1. The score is based on the Net Promoter Score system, using the following question: "If a friend's company was adopting Holacracy, how likely would you be to recommend [Trainer Name] as a trainer?"
2. All participants and other delivery staff were invited to submit feedback scores directly to HolacracyOne (not just through the Coach), and a statistically significant threshold of participants gave scores (as judged by @Holacracy_Training).
3. The NPS result was 0.5 or higher when only including scores from participants, and when including scores from participants plus other coaches/trainers.
