Workshop care taker
Purpose:
Producing recycled products through an efficient (reduce waste (energy, materials, time) to the minimum) and safe process to fulfill our production goals.Domains:
- Workshop
- Tools & moulds
- Machines
- Inventory
Accountabilities:
- Keeping record of learnings in the workshop
- Deciding what is needed in the workshop and requesting @Logistician to purchase
- Ensuring safety in the workshop
- Designing and making sure we have an efficient recycling process
- Ensuring the required plastic is ready at the workshop. Asking @Shillingy to buy it when necessary
- Ensuring the workshop has all the necessary items in the proper state to fulfill the current necessary tasks
- Ensuring all tasks listed in the daily checklist for organising the workshop are completed and sharing the list with @Getting things done with care when it is full
- Producing (cleaning & drying plastic, injecting, compressing, finishing) awesome products & components
- Repairing whatever is broken and reporting to @shillingy when something needs to be repaired somewhere else.
- Conducting tests as discussed with @Machines_tools_workshop_and_process_researcher and keeping record of results to understand our machines
- Updating @Machines tools workshop and process researcher on inconvenients in the workshop for which research is needed so that @Machines tools workshop and process researcher plans how to research and improve them.
- Making sure visitors fill the visitors book & digitalise the data in Network Database
- Marking all the tools of BE with SHIPO´s nomenclature
- Updating inventory with info from the workshop
- Keeping the stock (produced products) clean and ready to be sold
- Communicating and guiding collaborators who support in the production
- Keeping track of production in the production sheet
