Whether it be during your first 90 days or after, we believe that the decision to leave August will never be an easy one. We want to support you during your transition and also ask that you help us during this transition. Timelines for support and communication are as follows:

Decision to leave before or during 90-day commitment session (Team Member or August decision not to commit)
• We ask for two weeks of notice to be given to membership committe or the team member. If the decision is made during your 90-day session, the session will serve as your two weeks’ notice, giving time to wrap up any client or internal projects. If no time is needed, you’re free to depart August within the two week period.
• After your last day, August will continue to pay your full salary and medical, vision and dental benefits for four (4) weeks. This holds true regardless if you or August makes the decision not to commit.

Decision to leave after your 90-day commitment session (Team Member decision)
• We ask that give notice at least one cycle before your proposed last day to membership committee, to provide time for handing off all client/internal project work.
• After your last day, August will continue to pay your full salary and medical, vision and dental benefits for four (4) weeks, unless otherwise agreed to with membership committee.

August-driven termination decisions after the 90-day commitment session:
• If all steps have been taken towards finding an agreeable solution and the membership committee still determines that a team member should leave August, the timeline for leaving and additional pay will be done on a case-by-case basis, taking into account local compliance requirements.
