Attending (or coaching) at the following events conveys continuing education credit towards maintaining Holacracy credentials:

Any 4.5-day Practitioner or Coach Training delivered by HolacracyOne Trainer: 36 hours (pro-rated for days attended)
Any 4-day Practitioner Training delivered by HolacracyOne Trainer: 32 hours (pro-rated for days attended)
Any 4 or 4.5-day Practitioner or Coach Training delivered by a non-HolacracyOne Trainer with Master Coach credential: Up to 18 hours (pro-rated for days attended at 50% credit)*

Holacracy Forum 2018: 18 hours (Full credit is based on attendance for the duration of the event. Pro-rated credit may be claimed for sessions attended.)

Holacracy Forum 2019: 20 hours (Full credit is based on attendance for the duration of the event. Pro-rated credit may be claimed for sessions attended.)

Any one-on-one or small group (of up to five learners**) coaching calls with a HolacracyOne Master Coach: Actual Time Spent (not including breaks and lunch unless it is a working lunch).

Governance assessments are valid .5 hours of continuing education provided they include at least one HolacracyOne coach. Up to 5 hours (or 10 assessments) maybe claimed as continuing education credit per person per year.

Further, a coach may claim credit for up to 5 hours each year spent engaging on the Community of Practice forums and/or on the Issues section of the Constitution’s github repo. To claim this credit, the engagement must include a reasonable balance of posting vs. just reading.

* May only be claimed once every two years for a maximum of up to 18 hours every two years.

**Groups larger than five may be able to all claim actual time credit at the discretion of Credential-EO if information about programming is provided in advance or detailed summary information on outcomes and learnings is provided within 30 days following the event.

Additional note: Continuing education as the mechanism to maintain coach certification is optional. A coach may opt instead to retake the governance and tactical assessments (at the current fee and passing at coach level) prior to their recertification deadline to maintain their credential.
